TriLux™ Blackjack

How-to Player's Guide

Overview

Blackjack, also known as 21, is one of the most popular casino games. The objective is to draw cards to get as close to 21 as possible without going over 21.

Each card value is based on their respective number, with face cards (Jack, Queen, King) equaling 10, and the Ace equaling either 1 or 11.

TriLux™ Blackjack is an optional bonus bet for blackjack that considers the first two cards the player receives and the dealer’s up card. If a player receives one of the winning three card hands, they will win.

How to Play

  1. To begin the game, the player must place a bet on the hand and may also make the optional TriLux™ Bonus wager.
  2. Each player will receive 2 cards face up. The dealer will also receive 2 cards, revealing just 1 card to the table.
  3. Once players and the dealer have two cards, the dealer settles TriLux™ Bonus. The TriLux™ Bonus wagers will be settled immediately after everyone receives their first two cards and dealer’s first two cards. Winning TriLux™ Bonus bets will be paid and losing bets will be picked up in order of placement from the dealer’s right to left.
  4. If a dealer shows an Ace up, insurance is offered to all players. Insurance is an optional bet made by the players to protect against the dealer having a blackjack. Insurance bets can be up to one half of the original bet and pays 2:1.
  5. If the dealer does not have a blackjack, the round continues and now the players begin their turn. Each player has the following options:

  6. Hit | Take additional cards to improve the card total.

Stay or Stand | Decide not to take any additional cards.

Double Down | To make an additional bet of up to the amount of the initial wager on any two cards unless their point count is 21. Only one additional card is dealt to the player.

Split | To make two hands out of one when the first two cards are of equal value; the initial wager must be duplicated.

After every player has finished their turn, the dealer will show their hand. The dealer will continue to hit their hand until they have reached 17 or higher. Based on the final card totals, those that have not busted and have a higher card point count than the dealer win their bet. Players with the same total as the dealer push, meaning their bet will remain for the next hand.
